Yes, it's nice to have a lot of titles to see your success but what really matters is your relationship with your dog. You can only have a good relationship if your dog trusts you, and if she trusts you she'll be more willing to do what you ask.

I train my 1-year old All American Dog in agility and rally with positive reinforcement. I use treats to reward, NOT bribe — a big difference. Lera does not get to see the treat until she has performed what I ask. Sometimes she doesn't even get one. Being the enthusiastic dog that she is that just makes her work harder, and if she isn't doing what I ask or does something "bad" or "wrong" I just ignore the behavior or correct it with something positive. If she's getting frustrated, then I go back to something she already knows to keep her confidence up.

It seems to be working because she's already gotten her RA and is excelling at agility, as well as being a Therapy dog!
